After being on the other side of the table many times, I finally got to conduct an interview myself. Although I’m still a junior developer, I still want to document this experience.

Overall, I didn’t speak at first, but when I noticed the candidate’s resume mentioned the TP framework and Yii framework, I couldn’t help asking a few questions about how these frameworks handle XSS and CSRF prevention.

When the conversation turned to how to determine whether two numbers in an array sum up to a target value, I asked a few more questions.

All in all, I’m fairly satisfied with my first interview. However, I might have been a bit too aggressive in my questioning. I should take note and work on improving that :).
